Located 1 mile from the Carson House on Highway 11 just west of Texas street . Register & check in at the Carson House.
Named after a local antique dealer's mother who occupied the house until 1994, this quaint guesthouse was remodeled with the style reminiscent of the 1920's. Antique furniture, lace window treatments, and rich colors adorn the cottage and gives the feeling of stepping back in time.
The cottage has a living room, dining room, fully stocked kitchen and laundry room. The cottage is stocked with coffee, tea, sodas, mineral and spring waters, and has all necessary utensils & appliances if you wish to do your own cooking. It offers cable TV, VCR & private phone. Antique wicker furniture on the front porch offers the perfect place to relax. Breakfast is offered at the Carson House and is included in the rate. There are two bedrooms:
-The front bedroom has a king size bed and access to the bathroom in the adjoining hallway.
-The Master Suite has a king bed, spacious quarters, a large tiled shower in private bath facilities and its own phone line. The Master Suite can be locked to prevent access to the house side, and there is a private entrance for any guests who might rent it
-The House side has a bedroom with antique king size bed, bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and laundry facility. The house side can sleep up to 3 people.
